Knotty (Lower
Cabin)
Nestled
comfortably along the banks of the lower one-and-a-half-acre pond, the
Knotty Cabin is aptly named for the distinctive knotty appearance of
the beautiful wood from which it was crafted. From the upper loft to
the bedroom and living area below, the cabin is richly adorned with
finely-crafted white cedar log furniture, built by Amish hands from
the shores of West-Michigan. The cabin will sleep ten comfortably, with
two queen-size beds upstairs and two queen-size futons in the living
area. A separate bedroom downstairs contains a set of bunk-beds.
The 1,100 square ft. cabin features a fully-covered
1,400 square ft. wrap-around porch, giving you an all-points view of
the bountiful nature that surrounds you. Sit back and relax on the cedar
gliders and you can almost feel time slowing down. Have dinner outdoors
on the picnic tables as you sizzle up the steaks on the provided gas
grill. The pond presents a continuous scenic backdrop whether you are
enjoying a steak dinner or your morning coffee along with the serene
silence and nature's beauty.
Cabin amenities include a full-sized kitchen complete with electric
stove, refrigerator, microwave, double-sink and white cedar cabinetry.
Prepare yourself a hearty, down-home breakfast before you head out on
the morning hunt, or cook a romantic gourmet dinner for two. A full
bathroom with a stand-up shower offers convenience with a rustic flair.
Whatever the occasion calls for, the Knotty Cabin
has the character, rustic elegance and charm to make your stay there
memorable.
